At its core, social and emotional learning (SEL) emphasizes the soft skills kids need to succeed—skills like handling their emotions, feeling empathy for others, forming relationships and making responsible decisions.

At Hire Cause, we believe there are certain skills you must learn through doing.  

 

Just like you cannot learn how to ride a bike by reading a book, we believe that students must be put into situations that force them to develop the social and emotional skills they need to succeed.
