Students were given the challenge of raising awareness and money for a non-profit they cared about while enrolling a business partner from the community to help them.
High school student, Yasmin K, planned an event with her local boxing gym named Work Train Fight to raise awareness for Equality Now, an organization dedicated to advancing the rights of women and girls.
In order to plan this event, it took communication skills, collaboration, and grit to bring it together. Yasmin is still volunteering with the non-profit she chose and has built relationships with leaders from the business world.
